It's Monday! What are you Reading? (4)

It's Monday! What Are You Reading? is a weekly meme hosted by Book Journey. I've decided that I'll do this meme, every two weeks.

Last Two Weeks:
Yay! I feel so proud of myself! It's probably thanks to the Bout of Books read-a-thon. I've been taking my time getting through books lately, but I feel like I flew through all of these.

Currently Reading:

Description (from Goodreads): How do you fix what can't be fixed? Only the Transcendent Pig knows, and it's not telling. . . .

But Nita Callahan needs to find out--and soon. Her wizardly partnership with Kit has fallen apart. Much worse, her mother has gotten sick . . . so sick she may never leave the hospital.

Only one person can help Nita--the One she's devoted her life to fighting.

Description (from Goodreads): When Henry Atherton helps Mr. Fogarty clean up around his house, he expects to find a mess and a cranky old man; what he doesn't expect to find is Pyrgus Malvae, crown prince of the Faerie realm, who has escaped the treacherous Faeries of the Night by traveling to the human world through a portal powered by trapped lightning. An egomaniacal demon prince, greedy glue factory owners Brimstone and Chalkhill, and the nefarious Lord Hairstreak, leader of the Faeries of the Night, all dream of ruling the Faerie realm and are out to kill Pyrgus.

Enlisting the help of his sister, Holly Blue, and his new friend, Henry, Pyrgus must get back to the Faerie world alive before one of his many enemies gets to him instead. But how many portals are open, and can Pyrgus find the right one before it falls into the wrong hands?

Conjuring scenes filled with vivid color, unforgettable detail, and fearless characters, author Herbie Brennan brings readers to the Faerie world, where nothing is ever what it seems and no one can be trusted.

And Then:
Someday I'll get to Cold Magic... hopefully soon. I just keep putting it off. Watch it be a great book and I'll end up wanting to kick myself for taking forever to get to it.

  1. Wow- you are now the 4th monday meme filled with books I have never heard of/read. As I said at the last one- my TBR is definitely hurting :)

    Happy reading this week! :)

  2. I started reading Diane Duane's series years ago. I'd like to get back to it.

My favorite read last week was the audio of On the Beach by Nevil Shute. Please come see what else I'm reading.

  3. A great selection of fantasy books

    Have a great reading week!

  4. Oooh. I haven't read Diane Duane's books in forever, but the summary for The Wizard's Dilemma definitely has me curious as to all that's happened in that series.
